Opticon hosts digital leaders for three days of knowledge building, hands-on workshops, industry insights, and networking. This year’s agenda focus is “art and science” – how the two work in combination to drive better digital experiences and empower the people who create them. Conference highlights include:

Opticon will be held in-person in San Diego. General sessions and breakouts will be made available on-demand at the conclusions of the program.

• We have a few special sessions taking place on Tuesday, October 10. If participating in these events, please plan your travel accordingly.

• If you are not participating in any of the above, please arrive on Tuesday, October 10, to join us for our Welcome Reception at 5 pm PST to officially kick off Opticon 2023!

Breakouts and theater sessions will be available beginning in July to assist you in building your perfect agenda.

A select number of sessions will be made available on-demand at the conclusion of the conference which you will be able to access via the Attendee Hub until December 31, 2023 after which content will be available on optimizely.com.

The presentation material will be available within the Attendee Hub.

• We are pleased to offer a reduced Early Bird rate of $999 USD through July 31, 2023 at 11:59 pm PST.
• Effective August 1, 2023 at 12:00am PST, the rate will increase to $1,299 USD.

After completing registration, an email confirmation will be sent to the address associated with your registration. This email contains your unique confirmation number, which you will need to make any changes to your registration. We try to avoid, but sometimes these emails may land in spam/junk, so ensure to check those folders.

Registration for Opticon includes access to all business presentations, expo experiences, session offerings, product demonstrations, food and beverage provided within the agenda and evening events on the event agenda.

We accept payment by credit card only. Purchase orders are not accepted as a form of payment. We are unable to make any exceptions. If you have questions concerning this information, please send an email to opticon@kcimanagement.com.

During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to indicate special dietary restrictions. Please note that Optimizely will do everything in its power to accommodate restrictions and allergies.

• Optimizely has negotiated a discounted hotel room rate at the Marriott Marquis San Diego. To make a hotel reservation within our block, you must be a registered Opticon attendee.
• You can book your room at our discounted rate through September 18.
• Guest rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis and based on availability. Book early to ensure you secure your room!

No, the registration fee includes access to the event but does not include hotel accommodations.

Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina is located at 333 West Harbor Drive in San Diego. The closest airport is San Diego International Airport (SAN), which is 3.3 miles away, a short 10-15 minute taxi ride.

• Yes, on-site garage parking is available for a daily rate of $40 USD, or an hourly rate of $13 USD.
• Valet service is also available for a daily $60 USD rate.

• Taxicab service is readily available at San Diego International Airport. If you need a taxi, simply follow the signs leading to the Transportation Plazas. A Customer Service Representative will assist you in the taxi line.
• If you prefer to use a RideShare service (Uber, Lyft), designated Ride Share passenger pickup locations are as follows:
  • Terminal 1: Exit baggage claim via the escalators, walk across the Sky Bridge toward Ground Transportation and the parking lot, exit down the escalators toward the parking lot, and turn right to the Transportation Plaza. Use the crosswalk to the third lane for the pick-up area. See signage for assistance.
  • Terminal 2: Upon exiting baggage claim, use the main crosswalk to Transportation Plaza. Ridesharing pick-up is located in the second lane on the right. See signage for assistance.

• The weather forecast for San Diego in October hovers around a high of 74℉, but it can be even warmer, with a typical low of around 61℉.
• It is typically their dry season, with very little rain expected.

• We recommend business casual attire for the entire conference. Dress pants or jeans, dresses, blouses, and sport coats (tie or no tie – up to you!) are welcome.
• Our celebration evening is meant to be relaxed and fun, so casual attire are appropriate.
