Deepest, Darkest

THR reports Ernie Hudson, Phil LaMarr, Yetide Badaki, Raymond Lee, and Caitlin Bassett will star in Deepest, Darkest, a horror/sci-fi anthology film from producers Marc Bernardin and Akeela Cooper based “around the theme of secrets.” Segments will be directed by LaToya Morgan, Deric A Hughes and Benjamin Raab, Ubah Mohamed, Lamont Magee, Sujata Day and Kevin Avery.


The First Exorcist

Deadline reports Greg McClean (Wolf Creek) will direct The First Exorcist, an Australian supernatural thriller filming next year. Described as a “spellbinding fusion of religious and supernatural events set in Biblical times,” the story concerns “a mother [who] goes on a harrowing quest to save her daughter from demonic possession. As their lives descend into a nightmare, the mother learns of a mysterious healer with the power to expel demons, and embarks on a dangerous race against time – encountering hostile Roman authorities on her perilous mission to find the healer and save her daughter’s life.”


Terrifier 3

Empire Magazine has a new image from Terrifier 3 ahead of the trailer coming later today.

Elsewhere, Dolby Cinemas has shared its exclusive poster for Transformers One.


Speak No Evil

James McAvoy describes the English-language remake of Speak No Evil as “quite a different film” than the Danish original.
