Introducing SaaS Core: The next-gen CMS
We've created a system with a truly composable architecture, giving developers and marketers an easier, faster, more user-friendly way to create and deliver high-impact digital experiences—using whatever architecture (pure headless, hybrid headless, or head-on) your organization needs.
Optimizely CMS customers can now choose between the PaaS-based version of our CMS you know and love, or the new SaaS-based version. SaaS Core is headless by design, storing content as pure data, so you can use and reuse your content across channels.

The all-new visual builder
We're introducing an all-new visual experience builder that provides an elegant, intuitive editing interface—putting the power in the hands of content creators.
The new visual builder will include:
- Visual on-page editing and previews
- Templates you can build using drag-and-drop—no code necessary
- Fully connected to content via Optimizely Graph
- Personalization embedded right into the experience
The visual builder is coming soon to both SaaS and PaaS versions of the CMS, and will eventually serve as the new editing interface across the entire Optimizely suite.
Enhanced content modeling
We're bringing content modeling directly into the CMS user interface, providing greater flexibility and choice when it comes to defining your content models.
The enhanced content modeling for Optimizely CMS will provide technology-agnostic APIs as well as a fully featured user interface, enabling both developers and marketers to define the structure of your content.
This feature is already included in SaaS Core and will be available in the PaaS version of our CMS soon.
